January 10 on 10 - 2019 | Evelyne Portraits & Lifestyle Photographer | Philadelphia - PA

In the past 30 days, we’ve celebrated, spent time with family,  started new projects, visited new places, and caught the flu. Yep, all of us, but Yasmin, started the year feeling like total crap. We’ve recovered though and things are going well. I said hello to 2019 by picking up the camera to take some self portraits. It is so hard for me to get in front of the camera, but I’ve made it one of my goals for 2019 and I am sticking to it. We’ve beat the flu, self portraits are easier than that, kind of. Anyways, I’m so excited about the personal projects I've started and can’t wait to share some of them with you in the upcoming months.

Mural 3/100 - We found a school covered in murals and there was a playground as well. The girls really enjoyed it.

Being in the frame with my children once in a while is also one of my goals. I wanted to photograph him in my arms (with his squishy bottom) since I know soon enough I won’t be able/allowed to.

I have been watching light around my house and photographing anyone who might want to stand in for me.

I tried freelensing, and obviously need more practice, but I loved this one.
