After having had an incredibly fun session last year with these guys, and even spotting a BALD EAGLE during our session, I thought we could never top it off. Sabrina had seen one of my previous sessions this year at Lorimer Park, which had a family looking down a cliff, and decided that "yep, that's our spot". What a great choice it was for this beautiful/adventurous family. We explored this park like I had never done before. The boys got to climb rocks, run across huge logs, and skip rocks. Honestly, MY FAVORITE type of session. I love an adventurous family! Oh and we even got some portraits in between all the fun. Here are just a few of my favorites.
I am so thankful for my return families. I love to see how much the children have grown, and also how the parents always seem more relaxed and prepared each year. About a year before, I photographed this beautiful family while they were expecting the arrival of their baby sister Rachel. This is our fourth time together, and to our luck, with a GORGEOUS fall setting and PERFECT 78 degree weather. I am so in love with the outcome of their session so I had to share it over here at the blog. May god continue to bless you beautiful family Ravena & Andre.
We got to Pennypack on a late Monday evening. All I could think was, THE SUN IS GONE, what am I going to do? It was getting dark, but we did not give up. How could I give up after seeing this beautiful momma all made up, with her children and husband ready to have a good time with me? So I bumped up my ISO (camera term, I'm a geek) and looked for the brighter spots at the park. They were just naturals, and within less than an hour I took some of my favorite photographs of fall thus far. Here is their session.
I was there when Thaline and Eduardo welcomed Davi into the world. It has been almost two years, but it seems like it was only yesterday. I photographed their beautiful family on a "warmish" fall day at Pennypack Park, and loved every minute of it. Here are some of my favorites in the order taken.
I had the great pleasure of photographing the Kuppler family at this beautiful location in Hamilton, New Jersey. Sayen Gardens is absolutely gorgeous. It's a great place to walk around with the little ones in the spring time. I am so glad that Nina told me about this place and decided to have her photos taken here. Choosing the photos to post was the hardest part, there were so many favorites, it was hard to narrow down but here are a few from her session that I loved.
Any place where you can experience a range from tropical forest to the desert coolness is a good one for me. Nayara contacted me to visit Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square with her family and capture some portraits/lifestyle images of them at this gorgeous place. The honest truth is, with the bright and sunny day plus perfect outdoor weather combo, the place was packed. We did our best and I feel like I was able to capture a bit of each of their personalities, and most importantly, the love they have for each other. At the end of the day I realized, each one of them wanted a little bit of love from mom, and those were my favorite images from the lot. It made dodging the crowds all the better to have been able to capture these little moments.
I had the great pleasure of photographing Caroline and her handsome boys, 4 days after she gave birth to baby Benjamin. It was such a pleasure to photograph them in their beautiful home and to see this new family of 4 swooning over the newest member of their family.
I've known Caroline since we were teenagers. It makes me incredibly happy to see how she has become an amazing mother/wife. I had a wonderful afternoon with her + big brother Leo + her baby bump Benjamin. I'm really excited to come back soon to photograph them with daddy in Benjamin's nursery. I also can't wait to meet baby Ben!
