So many things have changed from the weather to the beautiful autumn scenery, but also in our own lives. We purchased and 'destroyed' our first home, found out we are having our first boy, started remodeling, got our pictures taken by my mom, between so many other things. Things have been busy to say the least, but it has been fun growing this belly, making time for home-school, fall sessions, and our weekly portraits. Bellow are some of my favorite photos taken in September & October. I'm linking to Charlotte of Three Flowers Photography all the way across the ocean, for some lovely fall photos check out her 10 on 10.
Some favorites from August/September. I'm very excited for these greens to turn into yellows & reds. Now I'm linking up to Breanna.

For the Fourth of July weekend we left Philadelphia and drove for 24 hours to Miami Beach, FL. After one day in Miami we drove 5 hours to our second destination, Clearwater, FL. We loved both locations, each for different reasons. I took over 2,000 photos and wanted to select my favorites for this month's 10 on 10. Now, selecting 10 images out of 2k is mission impossible when I love so many of them. I decided to select 10 images out of one outing I had with my babe Yasmin. We woke up at 6 am one morning to watch the sunrise by the beach. It was absolutely gorgeous and worth every minute. As soon as we walked out my lens fogged up, but luckily became accustomed to the hot moisture. The first image shows the fogged up lens, and I love it! Following are a few of my favorites.
Now I'm linking up to Mary Colleen. Go over to her page to check out her June/July photos.
OH WOW! What a CRAZY GOOD month. Looking back, I can't believe we have done so much in just a month. We traveled across the country to Utah and met our amazing friend and fellow 10 on 10 member Kristi + her beautiful family. She was kind enough to show us some lovely spots in Salt Lake City and she even baked me a delicious birthday cake for my 3 point O. I am SO lucky & currently craving some of that cake! Back over on the east coast, we have had some hot weather, some not so hot weather, park time, pool time, beach time, farm time, zoo time, chill time, and so much time with friends we love (some not pictured). Enough said, the month was amazing PERIOD. Here are a few photos to show. Linking to the amazing Kristi, who is the next person in our very small circle this month.

January was unusually busy for us this year. I photographed 6 sessions + completed my first month of the 365 project + collaborated in this wonderful project hosted by the bloom forum + we drove 20 hours to Orlando + visited Disney World's Magic Kingdom at day & night (watched the amazing fireworks) and even had some time leftover to visit Sea World (even though we were only there for 2 and half days). Since I already shared our Disney/Sea World photos all over the place, I decided to share a bit of our "daily art time" and Penelope's first "successful P". She was SO EXCITED about it! Next I'm linking up to Mary Colleen and her little crew, you need to check out her beautiful film photos (many props to you my dear friend, you totally rocked it). Then continue to follow our blog circle until you get back to me.
A few things I loved about November/December: Thanksgiving dinner, photographing things I am thankful for, morning fog, cloudy days, slowing down, and the red coat (which appeared in almost all of the photos I took this month).
I am wishing LOVE & JOY to all of my clients, my friends, my family and the wonderful people who visit this blog. Our next 10 on 10 circle will be in 1017! I have loved this circle and keeping up with these talented friends who contributed each month in 2016. Thank you all for inspiring me, for your support, for the time and love you have put in each month. I feel blessed to be able to share a little bit of this journey with you girls. Have a wonderful end of 2016 and HAPPY EVERYTHING!!!!
Linking up to my dear friend Kristi ❤️
I'm going to be a rebel and post 12 photos this month because I liked how they looked together as a grid. Fall season the past 3 years has always been a time of stress for me. It usually starts with a ton of excitement about booking a lot of sessions, and ends on a different note. I admit, the feeling of being wanted for what I do (photography) is just amazing. Usually in the past I have let myself stress and take more than I could handle. It's a flaw that I have, that I cannot say no. This year I made a goal that I would not let it get stressful. I took steps, and here we are, coming to a closing of the season feeling absolutely AMAZING. My body is tired, yes, but so grateful. These little outings helped us get through the days where it was getting rough. It's amazing what a "dose of nature" can do for our body, mind and soul. This is what October/November felt like for us. Now follow up with the beautiful Breanna Peterson from Alaska.
