How sweet is this family of 5? They welcomed me into their beautiful Philadelphia home this weekend, to photograph the newest member of their family, baby Nicolo. He was constantly cuddled and kissed by his two awesome big brothers, and without any prompting from us adults. They were eager to hold him and give him some love. I loved how their personalities came out and they even pulled some faces towards the end. I wanted to select 5 photos for a quick preview for their parents but I found it impossible since I love so many of them. Here are my favorites…
I had such a pleasant afternoon photographing this sweet baby girl and her parents at their home in Philadelphia, PA. She was the easiest and cutest. Big ‘furry’ brother Marley was right by her side the whole time being super protective. The eagles lost but we weren’t phased. I love the outcome!
I'm so excited about this super colorful session done at the Old City District in Philadelphia. Kamilla was the winner of the giveaway I did on Instagram when I launched my new account. She told me how much she loves having her family photographed, so we were a match from the start. We decided to go with an urban setting, since she has had family photos taken in many ‘park’ settings before, but never in the city. I chose the Philadelphia Old District because of the amazing colors and different shades found in the sometimes crumbling buildings. Despite the 90 degree weather they were super excited to walk around the city and find these beautiful walls and doors with me. I love the result.
A gloomy fall day at Longwood Gardens, with the type of weather you like to stay home for, but you wouldn't even guess. I loved photographing this super cute family of four a week before it was decorated for Christmas. Such a great way to say goodbye to autumn 2017!
I love doing these mini portrait sessions, especially when the family is so easy on the eyes as these folks. I've photographed them many times before and each year we feel more relaxed and ready to get things started. This year we didn't make it for spring photos, but I was so glad to capture them in this beautiful fall setting. The leaves turned 'literally' the night before for their photos. I had been to the same park 2 days before and it was so bland and green. What a happy surprise it was to see it looking this 'fallish'!
I love photographing outdoors and in nature, but every now and then I get to photograph at beautiful places like Longwood Gardens. It is my absolute favorite spot to photograph during the "crazy weather months"... This is a session I did early in the spring of this beautiful family. It was a warm day and we got to do a little bit of indoors and outdoors. They had never been to the gardens and they were in awe with all the beauty. I loved capturing a mixture of portraits and lifestyle photos of their family. Though I had literally hundreds of photos I loved from their session, I'm sharing a few of my favorites.
