I love doing these mini portrait sessions, especially when the family is so easy on the eyes as these folks. I've photographed them many times before and each year we feel more relaxed and ready to get things started. This year we didn't make it for spring photos, but I was so glad to capture them in this beautiful fall setting. The leaves turned 'literally' the night before for their photos. I had been to the same park 2 days before and it was so bland and green. What a happy surprise it was to see it looking this 'fallish'!
We got to Pennypack on a late Monday evening. All I could think was, THE SUN IS GONE, what am I going to do? It was getting dark, but we did not give up. How could I give up after seeing this beautiful momma all made up, with her children and husband ready to have a good time with me? So I bumped up my ISO (camera term, I'm a geek) and looked for the brighter spots at the park. They were just naturals, and within less than an hour I took some of my favorite photographs of fall thus far. Here is their session.
I was there when Thaline and Eduardo welcomed Davi into the world. It has been almost two years, but it seems like it was only yesterday. I photographed their beautiful family on a "warmish" fall day at Pennypack Park, and loved every minute of it. Here are some of my favorites in the order taken.
Not long ago Sabrina posted a message in a forum in which I am a member (and ABSOLUTELY love btw), introducing herself and talking about her newest move from Texas to Philadelphia. When I saw this I quickly messaged her giving her a warm welcome as I know how hard it is to move into a new place without knowing anyone. I instantly adored her. Sabrina is a super sweet and cool momma, we started talking and in a couple of days we decided we would be doing a family session of her and her awesome/beautiful family.
I thought I'd show them my FAVORITE park in Philadelphia, because I knew we would have a great time with her kids since it is a place where my girls LOVE visiting. And a great time we had! We took a stroll around the park and explored a bit, we saw swans, geese, (questions about fish were asked), and at the end to tie it all up we even spotted a bald eagle which is nesting on one of the tallest trees in the park. I could not have wished for a more perfect day. I'm so glad to have met this wonderful family I hope they enjoy the photos as much as I do!!!
This senior summer session was taken in Northeast Philadelphia at my favorite park, Pennypack Park. Pamela graduated in 2015. She is not only gorgeous and friendly but also a very smart and responsible young woman. Since it was a weekday in the middle of our vacation my two girls of 2 & 8 came with us and they too fell in love with Pam. They both begged me to ask Pam to babysit and even offered me to pay her. I'm so happy to have photographed Pam and to have found her as a sitter for my kids. Wishing you lots of success in your new adventures as a college girl PAM!
Just about six years ago I was present while this beautiful couple was getting married. 6 years later and here we are recording this special moment in their lives. And what a beautiful spring day it was, similar to the day they were married. We chose this beautiful local park called Pennypack Park, located in Northeast Philadelphia to photograph their love and affection towards each other and the new life that they are now expecting. Alejandra is 35 weeks and already we can't wait to meet Lucas.
I'd love to photograph your baby bump. Contact me here.
