I photographed this beautiful family 2 years ago at Longwood Gardens (link here), and I was so excited when I heard from them again this year. This time around we chose their home for the session. It was a beautiful sunny day, with beautiful fall weather and my favorite photos are the ones on their front porch as you will probably be able to tell. They are such a wonderful, loving bunch. One of them had the giggles and had me giggling through the whole session, can you guess who it was?! Thank you guys for having me over.
A year ago around this time of the year, I was meeting the W family to photograph little Hanna during her first days of life. Even as a newborn, she was such a ham to photograph. She was so sweet and calm, and barely gave us a whine, as I remember. Now a year later I got to photograph her again, and once again she surprised me with how at ease she was with the camera. I photographed her, along with her lovely parents and awesome furry brother Marley, over at Core Creek Park during a beautiful late summer sunset. Everything seemed to align for these love filled photographs of them. I guess we can say that we had a pretty amazing time, even furry brother Marley seemed to enjoy this nice day at the park.
A few years ago I photographed Pamela for a special occasion (click here). She was graduating high school and heading to college to become a nurse. I was so excited when this summer Pamela (a now nurse, CONGRATS Pam!) contacted me about doing a session with her mom and siblings. She told me it was her mom’s birthday, and she and her siblings wanted to give their mom a photo-session as a birthday present. We decided to use Core Creek Park as the location, because of the beautiful sunset and view of the lake and it was a perfect choice. I loved to see how much they care for their mom, and how in tune they all were. Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session.
I'm so excited about this super colorful session done at the Old City District in Philadelphia. Kamilla was the winner of the giveaway I did on Instagram when I launched my new account. She told me how much she loves having her family photographed, so we were a match from the start. We decided to go with an urban setting, since she has had family photos taken in many ‘park’ settings before, but never in the city. I chose the Philadelphia Old District because of the amazing colors and different shades found in the sometimes crumbling buildings. Despite the 90 degree weather they were super excited to walk around the city and find these beautiful walls and doors with me. I love the result.
A gloomy fall day at Longwood Gardens, with the type of weather you like to stay home for, but you wouldn't even guess. I loved photographing this super cute family of four a week before it was decorated for Christmas. Such a great way to say goodbye to autumn 2017!
