February 10 on 10 | 2017

January was unusually busy for us this year. I photographed 6 sessions + completed my first month of the 365 project + collaborated in this wonderful project hosted by the bloom forum + we drove 20 hours to Orlando + visited Disney World's Magic Kingdom at day & night (watched the amazing fireworks) and even had some time leftover to visit Sea World (even though we were only there for 2 and half days). Since I already shared our Disney/Sea World photos all over the place, I decided to share a bit of our "daily art time" and Penelope's first "successful P". She was SO EXCITED about it! Next I'm linking up to Mary Colleen and her little crew, you need to check out her beautiful film photos (many props to you my dear friend, you totally rocked it). Then continue to follow our blog circle until you get back to me.

Expecting Baby 'E' | Winter Maternity Session at Longwood Gardens - Kennett Square, PA

A few weeks ago I photographed this beautiful family at Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square, PA. I had photographed this couple while they were expecting *the now big brother Lucas* and it was such a pleasure to photograph them again. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

December 10 on 10 | 2016

A few things I loved about November/December: Thanksgiving dinner, photographing things I am thankful for, morning fog, cloudy days, slowing down, and the red coat (which appeared in almost all of the photos I took this month).

I am wishing LOVE & JOY to all of my clients, my friends, my family and the wonderful people who visit this blog. Our next 10 on 10 circle will be in 1017! I have loved this circle and keeping up with these talented friends who contributed each month in 2016. Thank you all for inspiring me, for your support, for the time and love you have put in each month. I feel blessed to be able to share a little bit of this journey with you girls. Have a wonderful end of 2016 and HAPPY EVERYTHING!!!!

Expecting 'Lucas' | Winter Maternity Session at Longwood Gardens - Kennett Square, PA

It was the windiest and coldest of days here in the east coast. We were all very glad to have planned this session at the cozy, warm and beautiful gardens of Longwood Gardens. Usually the gardens are pretty busy, with lots of crowds going about admiring the amazing scenes provided all year long. Due to the "bad" weather outdoors, not many people were present this day. We lucked out big time. Here are a few of my favorites from this session.

The 'Koogler' Family | Fall Family Session at Lorimer Park - Abington, PA

After having had an incredibly fun session last year with these guys, and even spotting a BALD EAGLE during our session, I thought we could never top it off. Sabrina had seen one of my previous sessions this year at Lorimer Park, which had a family looking down a cliff, and decided that "yep, that's our spot". What a great choice it was for this beautiful/adventurous family. We explored this park like I had never done before. The boys got to climb rocks, run across huge logs, and skip rocks. Honestly, MY FAVORITE type of session. I love an adventurous family! Oh and we even got some portraits in between all the fun. Here are just a few of my favorites.

The 'Almeida' Family | Fall Family Session at Lorimer Park - Abington, PA

I am so thankful for my return families. I love to see how much the children have grown, and also how the parents always seem more relaxed and prepared each year. About a year before, I photographed this beautiful family while they were expecting the arrival of their baby sister Rachel. This is our fourth time together, and to our luck, with a GORGEOUS fall setting and PERFECT 78 degree weather. I am so in love with the outcome of their session so I had to share it over here at the blog. May god continue to bless you beautiful family Ravena & Andre.

10 on 10 November | Evelyne Lourenco | Philadelphia Family Photographer

I'm going to be a rebel and post 12 photos this month because I liked how they looked together as a grid. Fall season the past 3 years has always been a time of stress for me. It usually starts with a ton of excitement about booking a lot of sessions, and ends on a different note. I admit, the feeling of being wanted for what I do (photography) is just amazing. Usually in the past I have let myself stress and take more than I could handle. It's a flaw that I have, that I cannot say no. This year I made a goal that I would not let it get stressful. I took steps, and here we are, coming to a closing of the season feeling absolutely AMAZING. My body is tired, yes, but so grateful. These little outings helped us get through the days where it was getting rough. It's amazing what a "dose of nature" can do for our body, mind and soul. This is what October/November felt like for us. Now follow up with the beautiful Breanna Peterson from Alaska.

The 'Magalhaes' Family | Fall Family Session at Pennypack Park - Philadelphia,PA

We got to Pennypack on a late Monday evening. All I could think was, THE SUN IS GONE, what am I going to do? It was getting dark, but we did not give up. How could I give up after seeing this beautiful momma all made up, with her children and husband ready to have a good time with me? So I bumped up my ISO (camera term, I'm a geek) and looked for the brighter spots at the park. They were just naturals, and within less than an hour I took some of my favorite photographs of fall thus far. Here is their session.

The 'Brito' Family | Fall Family Session at Pennypack Park - Philadelphia, PA

I was there when Thaline and Eduardo welcomed Davi into the world. It has been almost two years, but it seems like it was only yesterday. I photographed their beautiful family on a "warmish" fall day at Pennypack Park, and loved every minute of it. Here are some of my favorites in the order taken.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! No, it's not Christmas yet. But to us, fall is the best. We are definitely not "summer" people. Fall is where the love is, the colors, the air, the temperature, even the smells of fall, fill our hearts with joy and energy. This past week we were out and about at different parks every single day of the week. When does that ever happen? Only in fall. I gathered some of my favorites from the past week, and one photo of Elle from a few weeks ago because apparently I forgot to introduce her here, and I am already missing her as a teeny kitty. Kids grow fast but kitties, WOW! She's already changed so much. Oh, and I also managed to get in there twice, kinda! ;)

When you are done looking over my post please take a look at Cris' post and continue to follow our blog circle until you are back to me. I know you won't regret it.
