FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Should I bring props?
If you have an idea please share with me beforehand. Having two-three props may make the session extra special but having too many props may be distracting and tiring. Keeping it simple and light will be ideal since you will have to carry things around as well as pay attention to kids/babies/pets. Also remember that you will probably have to place things on ground, so make sure to grab a tote that could get dirty and has space for things you might have to throw in.
What should I wear to my session?
I have prepared inspirational boards which could help you select the outfits for your session. The most important rule is to be comfortable and to be yourselves. One basic rule for success is to keep it simple, NO LOGOS. I know it's much easier to dress everyone in the same exact color + plain jeans but I know most will not want to look like they are wearing uniforms, instead, working with colors and patterns that compliment each other is a great solution and I have just the examples to help you. Once we are planning your session I will be sure to send you those inspirational boards and you will be able to choose the outfits that fit your style and your family.
What should I bring to my session?
For your outdoor session, please make sure to bring an extra outfit for each of the family members since we know accidents can happen. Five minutes into a photo-shoot last year the littlest of the family tripped and fell into a puddle, god was I thankful for the *awesome and prepared mom* for bringing an extra pair of pants for the little one, otherwise we would have had a very muddy looking babe for the rest of the photos. It's also a good idea to bring some snacks and always WIPES.
Do you do any other types of sessions other that family lifestyle?
Yes, I absolutely do. Maternity, newborn lifestyle and kid sessions are some other type of sessions that I do. I do not photograph events, including birthdays or weddings. I also photograph Senior sessions which are some of my favorites and would love to show you some of my previous sessions if you are interested. You can click here to see one of my favorite senior sessions which was also featured at the bloom forum here.
How long after the session will my photos be delivered?
The photos are delivered via a private and password protected gallery within 2-4 weeks after your session date. Once your photos are edited and ready to be viewed you will receive an email including all the information necessary to access your gallery and download your photos to your desktop. With these photos you will be able to print, share and create any products you might want to. Many products, including amazing professional prints, are also offered by Evelyne Lourenco Photography, but there is no requirement to purchase of any of these items.
